EGA Fall Retreat 2006: A Retrospective in Images (1 of 24)

The Asilomar Conference Center is a small world unto itself whose rustic wood buildings are set amid fragrant cypress and spread across a rambling 105 acres hugging the rocky, white-sand shoreline of the Monterey Peninsula. Here, nature and human development co-existed harmoniously, with walkable grounds, ever-present recycling bins, and fragile dunes carefully preserved in the Monterey Bay National Marine Life Sanctuary—an appropriate setting to contemplate environmental themes.
