Feeling Creative? Help Paint the EGA Commemorative Mural

Cece Carpio, a cultural organizer and accomplished artist, will guide members through the creation of a mural to commemorate EGA's anniversary. The project complements the plenary, Cultural Roots of Environmentalism. Members have the opportunity to help Cece paint as she shares a bit about her experiences as an organizer in the environmental justice movement and how she has used art to touch young people and indigenous communities. The mural will be held by EGA and used for future events, and so we want your fingerprints on it!

Tracking the Field of EGA

Stop by the Hyatt Tamaya Ballroom to view a provocative five-minute multimedia presentation that provides illustrative data about the field of environmental grantmaking. The presentation will be continuously shown in the ballroom between sessions so that everyone has a chance to view it.. All participants will receive a “Rough Guide” to the presentation in their packets as well.

Alumni Reunion

This year we will be joined by former EGA board members, invited as special guests, in honor of the 20th anniversary. Please be sure to welcome them back to the retreat!
