BP Oil Spill Disaster: Funder Response
June 1, 2010
Last week, more than 200 foundations participated in a webinar co-sponsored by EGA, many foundations, and affinity groups.
Go to blog.ega.org and register (funder only) recording of that webinar and for powerpoints utilized in that first call. Funder groups are coordinating on how best to assist foundations interested in collaborating on this unprecedented disaster unfolding before our eyes. EGA is developing a matrix of funding opportunities and will be sending out a link to a survey to best collect that information. See here for information collected to date.
Webinar co-sponsored by: 444S Foundation, Association of Small Foundations, Arabella Philanthropic Investment Advisors, CIFF Foundation, Confluence Philanthropy, Funders\\\' Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities, Greater New Orleans Foundation, Gulf Coast Fund for Community Renewal and Ecological Health, Health Environmental Funders Network (CGBD), Kresge Foundation, Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation, Magnolia Trust, Marine Conservation Program (of CGBD), Nathan Cummings Foundation, Rachel\\\'s Network, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region.
Stay tuned for more webinars, events and programming to help keep us all connected. Please call with any suggestion and send your ideas for collaboration today to fchiles@ega.org
