Gender and Climate Justice Funding Initiative

A new funding initiative is forming to elevate investment in climate justice leadership – primarily by supporting the leadership of Black women, Indigenous women, women of color, youth, and others engaged on the frontlines – to move equitable climate solutions at the speed and scale needed to attain a just and habitable world.
The Fund will raise money and make grants to support climate, gender, and racial justice work in three main areas: movement-building and advocacy; cultural engagement and narrative shifting; and sustainable leadership and healing.
The Fund will have a national scope with a predominant focus on grantee partners in states in the southeastern US, including, but not limited to, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Puerto Rico, and Virginia.
