Federal Policy Briefing

The 2019 Federal Policy Briefing is an important moment to come together as a community of environmental funders to reflect and strategize on the road ahead. This biennial convening is our chance to ground ourselves in the challenges and opportunities of the current political moment, and to offer our platform for gathering to maximize our connections and impact. The 2019 Federal Policy Briefing will be held February 26-27 in Washington DC.

The recent IPCC Special Report and 2018 midterm elections arrive with implications for the future surrounding climate, land, agriculture, water and our communities, among other priorities. Building on the efforts of our 2017 Federal Policy Briefing, the 2018 Affinity Equity Summit and the Fall Retreat, we look forward to continue practicing intersectionality across our philanthropy sectors with our members and partners, including the Biodiversity Funders Group and others to be announced soon.

We invite EGA members to submit concurrent session proposals for consideration by following this link by end of day on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 (PST). We encourage you to review the Concurrent Session Sponsor Guidelines and Responsibilities in advance of submitting your ideas.
