Federal Policy Briefing

Join us at EGA’s 2019 Federal Policy Briefing in Washington, DC to reflect and strategize on the road ahead. This biennial convening is our chance to ground ourselves in the lay of the land in the aftermath of the 2018 midterm elections and developments, discuss the future of policy, and learn about efforts to continue to build power to make progress on our shared priorities in the coming years. The 2019 Federal Policy Briefing will be held February 26-27 in Washington, DC.

We look forward to hearing from experts at this briefing, including the firsthand voices of new members of Congress, to learn from their insights on environmental challenges and opportunities. With democracy and freedom of the press in mind, we will consider the future surrounding climate, public lands, agriculture, infrastructure, water, and our communities, among other priorities. Building on the efforts of our 2017 Federal Policy Briefing, the 2018 Affinity Equity Summit and the Fall Retreat, we look forward to continue practicing intersectionality across our philanthropy sectors with our members and partners.

Please check back on this page for further details as the briefing approaches. If you have any further questions regarding the event, do not hesitate to reach out to Maud Henderson at mhenderson@ega.org or Junyi Zheng at jzheng@ega.org for more information.
