Gender and Climate Justice Funding Initiative

A new funding initiative is forming to elevate investment in climate justice leadership – primarily by supporting the leadership of Black women, Indigenous women, women of color, youth, and others engaged on the frontlines – to move equitable climate solutions at the speed and scale needed to attain a just and habitable world.
The Fund will raise money and make grants to support climate, gender, and racial justice work in three main areas: movement-building and advocacy; cultural engagement and narrative shifting; and sustainable leadership and healing.
The Fund will have a national scope with a predominant focus on grantee partners in states in the southeastern US, including, but not limited to, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Puerto Rico, and Virginia. The Fund will also link with global women and climate networks through partners. More information about the Fund is available here: https://climateandgenderjustice.org/
