Ashley W. Li

Senior Research Manager

Ashley Li (pronouns: she/her) is the Senior Research Manager at the Environmental Grantmakers Association (EGA). She has been serving on the staff of EGA since 2015. Ashley manages EGA’s Tracking the Field database, a database that hosts over 180,000 environmental grants. Ashley oversees EGA’s research team on data collection, entry and analysis. She leads EGA’s efforts to create its signature Tracking the Field report series and produce other custom analyses for EGA members and partners. She also supports other EGA initiatives though providing data insights.

In 2013, Ashley served as an Emerging Scholar at the Urban Institute’s National Center for Charitable Statistics (NCCS). Prior to joining EGA, she worked briefly at the New York City Department of Education as a Data Office Manager.

Ashley holds a Master’s in Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin, with a focus on nonprofit management. While at UT, Ashley served two years at the school’s RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service.

Ashley is also passionate about arts and design. She holds a certificate in Digital and Graphic Design from the Parsons School of Design.
