Kiara Ott

Program Associate, Energy, 11th Hour Project

Kiara Ott is a Program Manager for the Energy Program at The 11th Hour Project, part of the Schmidt Family Foundation. Her work focuses on supporting communities most impacted by oil and gas extraction around the United States with a goal of keeping oil and gas in the ground and transitioning to an equitable renewable energy economy. Prior to joining, Kiara was part of the inaugural cohort of the Environmental Fellows Program with a placement at the Environmental Grantmakers Association office in New York. She holds a BA in Public Health Studies from the Johns Hopkins University as well as a Master of Health Science degree in Environmental Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health with a concentration in global environmental health and sustainabili
