The board of the Environmental Grantmakers Association shared the following the statement this week noting the departure of the organization’s president and CEO, Tamara Tole O’Laughlin:
Dear EGA Community,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are writing with an update: Tamara Toles O’Laughlin has stepped down from her role at the Environmental Grantmakers Association to become President and CEO of The New York Women’s Foundation.
During her tenure, Tamara launched the Executive Grantmaker Fellowship, supported EGA’s membership in developing the Accords on the Future of Environmental Philanthropy, and guided EGA in implementing its Racial Equity Point of View. We are grateful for her dedicated service to EGA. Tamara brought energy and commitment to our community, and we wish her well in her new role.
As we move forward, please reach out to EGA's Chief Operations Officer, Franny Chiles Canfield, for any interim needs.
Thank you for your continued partnership and hope you will remain engaged with EGA during this transition.
Sincerely,
The Board of Directors
Environmental Grantmakers Association
